Marshall County Fire Services in Mississippi receives $5,000 grant from Marathon Petroleum Gas Pipeline Division
MARSHALL COUNTY, MS. (TVMO) - The Marshall County Fire Services in North Mississippi has been awarded a $5,000 grant from Marathon Petroleum Gas Pipeline Division.
In a statement released on Facebook by MCFS they said;
“Marshall County Fire Services is proud to announce that we have been awarded a generous grant from the Marathon Gas Company in support of our mission to protect and serve the citizens of Marshall County.
This funding will help strengthen our capabilities by providing resources that enhance firefighter safety, emergency response, and community preparedness. Partnerships like these make a meaningful difference and allow us to better serve our residents every day.

The $5,000 grant will go towards the cost of a special air monitor to help MCFS ensure early detection of leaks in local gas pipelines owned and operated by Kinder Morgan.
