Continued cold front increases chances of more severe storms across North Mississippi

NORTH MISSISSIPPI (TVMO) - With the continued cold front across North Mississippi, the Memphis Office of the U.S. National Weather Service has issued a forecast for a marginal to slight chance of severe weather across the region along with flood warnings due to prolonged rainfall.

Based on the forecast the weather warning has been issued from 1: p.m. today until 9:00 p.m. this evening.

Please stay weather aware and if while out driving you come across a flooded section of road, pleas turn around and find an alternate route.
